.The hardest one was survival backstroke I always fell
down to the bottom of the pool.I kept trying, in the end

Super shapes

In room 4 we are learning to identify lots and lots of
2D and 3D shapes. This week and last week me and Oli
made the nets of some 3D shapes,we also made the nets
into the 3D shapes,we put scrunched up paper in side of
them, they turned out amazing. One time we had to go
outside and find 3D shapes. My favourite 3D shape was
the dodecahedron and my favourite 2D shape was the
Circle. Here are some of our shapes thank you. Do you
know how many faces a decagon has?

He aha tenei? - what is this?

I am learning to find the kupu for insects. In class we learnt about insects in New

Zealand and  Māori  kupu , we read the book He aha tēnei wich means what is

this?

My favourite word is pūngawerewere it means Spider, it is a really long word .

My second favourite word is rō wich means praying mantis.

For what reason was Te Reo Māori invented?
