KOALAS
Koalas have been around for about 2 million years
Koalas are gray and fuzzy all they do is sleep and eat. They live in Australia. They are
warm-blooded.warmblooded animals mean having a body temprature higher than their
enviroment. They live in eucalyptus trees they climb and eat. they eat eucalyptus leaves.

Koala fossils found in australia have been dated as long as 20 million years ago.Koalas are
not bears, their closest relative is the wombat. Koalas have sharp claws to help them climb
trees. A baby koala is called a joey. the koala will only eat 2.5 pounds of leaves a day.
in the wild their life span is 13 to 18 years.their scientific name is phascolarctos
cinereus.the adult koalas weigh 4 to 15 kilograms.
