SAND DUNES

On Monday we learnt about the sand dunes. We also did a few other things like making the sand dunes.
he told us a story about some people who lived next to the beach and couldn't see the sand dunes and they called the council and got part of the sand dunes taken down then they could see the ocean they were happier when the sand kept going down and down, then one day their roof collapsed because all the sand blew on to it.

in class we have been learning to write a prayer using a simple structure.

Swimming

Throughout two weeks our school has been swimming, some of it was fun some of it was not.
I learnt some survival lessons each day before we started the instructors would tell us one message. We also got to try out some survival gear.
The worst part was survival backstroke because my goggles kept filling up with water when I was sinking.
The best part was when the boat came out because it was fun helping other people up I was the second person on the boat, Sophia was the first person she helped the girls get up and I helped the boy eventually Linkon got up  by help then we managed to get Archie up then Jackson had to climb up the ladder.
The hardest thing to learn was the survival rope my partner was Linkon and when I had the rope Linkon went very far out and I had to underarm throw a bag half full of water  over 3 metres.

how to make a sandwich

This week RM2 were working on instructional writing this is how to make a sandwich.

Instructions for a sandwitch

Materials
A butter knife
A spread or butter
Two pieces of bread


 Take two pieces of bread and place them down beside each other face flat.
 Get out a butter knife and some type of spread (if it's peanut butter don't get butter if not go to step 3)
Take off the lid of the butter then hold your knife by the handle then stick it in the butter still holding the handle then pick it up and spread it gently across the face of the bread
 Open the lid of the spread by unscrewing it. Hold the butter knife by the handle then dip it in the spread to get a little bit on the knife
Bring the Knife out with the spread on then gently spread it across the face of the bread. Then if you still have some spread spread it across the other bit of bread
 Then get the faces of the bread and put them together face to face
Then you’re done

interland

Hi today I played interland and this is my certificate Linkon got it for me my Friend he got 630 ponts on tower of treasure. we were learning how to be internet smart. The challenging part was that the bullies kept breaking stuff. the purpose of the level was to keep you safe from people stealing your password so you have to choose the right password.

Hey its me again the boy that always says today the something is doing something or someone is chasing or doing something today  it happened a guy caught the sun yeah he did so it all started when i was on britain's got talent I did a bit of comedy that everyone in the stadium but one person laughed at, which i thought was funny because i had just said so everybody likes it when it's warm and hot but i like it when its cold (audience is quiet) dont worry that was just my warm up joke (audience:ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha aha ha ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ah ah ah ah ah ha ha ha ha ha ah ha ha ha h a  ha)

Today the earth cracked

hi and today I found a couple of old stories that I wrote. This is number one.

Today the earth cracked I know it sounds crazy but it did, you see it all began when a strange figure appeared in our town he was following EVERYBODY and when I say everybody I mean everybody seriously he is a creep I think. but one day he did something despicably bad he went around town with a mask and a gun and threatened everyone that he was going to shoot them. Then after that he went to our local bank and asked for money but the bankers wouldn't give him any so the One simple to  thing to do was shoot him so he did and after all the other despicable things he did he hid. The next day he went to the prison on the sea to find his so called brothers and sisters so he (borrowed) stole a jet boat from a man that was working out. It turned out that this guy was a lifeguard and he ran and swam after him and yelled loudly hey stop but he wouldn't stop so the most logical thing for the lifeguard to do was swim to the prison and get his boat and of course that's what he did but he didn't get far before he was stung by a jellyfish legs bitten off by a shark and and gobbled up by moby dick. The strange figure looked behind and murmured I thought he was a lifeguard and he couldn't even guard himself. So the next day came and the strange figure had all his so called brothers and sisters and they found a digger, and since the people of queens town where so mean and threw rotten tomatoes at him he dug up the ground and laughed he fell down the big crack the people laughed at him soon they all fell down and the earth fell in half and it caused a chain reaction that destroyed all the planets in the milky way blah blah blah and the milky way caused a chain reaction that exploded the other systems around the universe blah blah blah. The end.

emotions

This slide is about the emotions i feel. The emotions I feel a lot is disgust and surprise because I am always at that moment where something disgusting has to happen. for surprise I am good at jump scaring people as well as photo bombing.

what are manners? good question they are a use of words used to e.g make people thankful, grateful and others.
when should we use them? another good question in times when you did something wrong, someone did something or you did something for someone there is lots of others but it will take a long time.
what is a manner I need to work on? I think I need to work on pardon because I dont say that much.

abraham and sarah

Today i finished my abraham and sarah questions. these are the awnsers on a google drawing.
so the story is they got married and they didnt have any babys so they worried, when abraham was 75 god called to him and told him that they would have a baby so they waited then after awhile sarah got impatient and she didnt believe god. abraham was 99 then god gave him a baby then they got lots more babys down through generations and one of them was Jesus.

Today march the 2nd 1965 we discovered the planet MARS! It is very exciting.  All my friends are on mars now. The friends on mars: ok we just landed. Hey captain is anyone else on mars at this moment, no not that i know of apart from some kind of life species like an alien or whatever its called, well captain take a look outside, oh wow rookie you found the first life on mars, I'm going outside to take a closer look bye! Wait rookie! Take a plasma rifle in case it attacks. It was to late the rookie was gone…

ROOKIE ROOKIE! Where are you! 

Back with rookie:captain captain! Help! The alien is gonna kill me! Quick come! 

Dont worry im here i told you to take a plasma rifle.

The captain ended up killing the alien and then murmured to himself (forget the gun typical rookies)

King alien: where is alien 2716! Anybody! Where! I demand an answer! 

The aliens stood there quietly.

SOMEONE ANSWER ME!

perfect play

Today we were performing plays in front of room 4 my play was called the perfect presentation.

In my group there was me , Jackson , Mackayla , Kloe , Jennifer and lily.

It was hard because most of my group didnt focus and said or did the wrong things.

A part i enjoyed was sitting down and listening to them saying ¨lets eat insects¨ ¨yeah lets eat insects¨

capture the flag

the first game against rawhiti was quite easy didn't focus on us so we got past them and won against them.

when were versing them i didn't anything hard.

i think we need to work on more defence.

i am looking forward to beating them again next week.

so the next game we versed queens park they were hard so we tied against them.

when we versed them i found stepping them hard because they were everywhere, I've  been finding outrunning them easy

i think we needed more defence because they get past alot.

i want to beat them next time

KOALAS

Koalas have been around for about 2 million years

Koalas are gray and fuzzy all they do is sleep and eat. They live in Australia. They are
warm-blooded.warmblooded animals mean having a body temprature higher than their
enviroment. They live in eucalyptus trees they climb and eat. they eat eucalyptus leaves.

Koala fossils found in australia have been dated as long as 20 million years ago.Koalas are
not bears, their closest relative is the wombat. Koalas have sharp claws to help them climb
trees. A baby koala is called a joey. the koala will only eat 2.5 pounds of leaves a day.
in the wild their life span is 13 to 18 years.their scientific name is phascolarctos
cinereus.the adult koalas weigh 4 to 15 kilograms.

Koalas are cool funny creatures. They are fluffy,fuzzy,cute and awesome.I like them because
they are nice creatures.

capture the flag!

today we played capture the flag and we versed two teams. one of the games we one 4 mil. then the next game the teams were very even. our first team we versed was south Brighton they were aggressive but not good enough to beat us we had defence! they let us get into the box, that was one thing they were slack on they tried to much to get into our box they didn't think about defence we bet them.




the next week on we played rawhiti again! and sadly we tied again! oli was our only distractor because jai was gone and Cody was sick as well so minice 2 players for us. the next game we versed queenspark school they got into our side alot so we tagged them. in my stats they were greedy for the ball. I got into the box easily.SO we got into the box alot and didn't quite catch the ball. at the end I got a big wet muddy high five from Matteo from rawhiti school and that was our experience at capture the flag.

Today we had to make a chrome book commercial it was really fun. i made a good commercial with lots of stuff to make people buy it. The whole point was to learn how to write/draw persuasive posters

POUNCING PUBLIC VS PRONTO PRIVATE

Today we were learning about what things are public e.g (your first name) or private e.g ( your birthday) and we watched a video of a man and a girl that were talking online. the man saw the girls posts the girl didn´t know who the man was the man was 50 and the girl was 13 and the man liked the girl and he said he was 13 had dark brown hair and blue eyes and he had pictures of the girls posts all around his room and tracked down everything she did went and what time she did them. the girl woke up and had lots of mail from the man. she went to the park to roller blade with her friends and saw the man staring at her. she  knew he was the guy mailing her. so she made her account private and learnt her lesson.

Turtles

Turtles have been around for over two million years! Some turtles are very different lots are tiny and
some weigh hundreds of pounds,some like fresh water some like salt water.

Turtles live in salt or fresh water.They have a big shell that fits over there whole body,their shell is hard,
sometimes round sometimes bumpy.In water turtles appear green on sand they are sand colour.
Some are carnivores they eat meat some are herbivores they eat plants some eat both.

Turtles can be very aggressive if they haven't eaten in a while but they are normally very nice.
Sea turtles stay together but some turtles stay alone.Turtles can live for around 100 years!



Leatherback turtles can weigh over 900 kgs! Turtles lay eggs.some species are very endangered.a
turtle's shell its part of its skeleton.sea turtles only come out of water

To lay eggs.baby turtles are faster than us walking.


I think turtles are awesome and cool creatures and should forever more!
